Teach a new rider how to ride, how to be safe, and how to have fun!
A new bike is the best present ever and we have family packages for every size and age!
A bike that fits, a bike that performs, that's a bike that's going to last a long time. We're experts at fitting bikes (and helmets) that will still allow growing room.
Kids' bikes are sized by the wheel diameter--12, 16, 20, 24 inches and will fit most children from 2 1/2 years old and up. Our shop elves have been busy building up fleets of flat proof, light weight Striders that teach balance and steering and full size runs of bikes from DK, Giant, Felt, and Scott. Kids Bikes
Set your kids up with a life long skill and the freedom that comes from riding a bike--they'll love riding and they'll love you!
Where to Ride
The holidays are like riding a bike--some balance, some teamwork, some giving back.
Remember, it's supposed to be fun!
You'll need some fitness and energy to get all of your work done and in on time!
You might need to know where to go....
We have maps of the best loops in Folsom and more maps for any road or mountain biking you might want to explore in Northern California.
We also have a fleet of rental bikes available for friends and family from out of town.
Shop rides leave from the store Tuesday and Saturday nights after closing and any riders are welcome to come along and ride with our team.
If all the talk about riding makes you a little hungry (and it's not Saturday, with Lynda's amazing cookies in the store)--ask us for a test sample from the nutrition offerings from Hammer, Cytomax, Gu, and Honey Stinger--just in case you need a snack during your ride.
This Just In!
Salsa bikes let you ride anywhere! Salsa's Mukluk and Beargrease bikes offer stable, comfortable riding on low rolling resistance tires that offer amazingly high flotation with 4" plus of tread. With no pesky suspension to dial or maintain--the fat tired bikes make an incredibly versatile bike. Simply fun or simply amazing? Several resorts will be offering snow biking this winter but on any day of the year a fat bike rocks!
